Snow on the Mountain

I never thought I would see the day when it snowed in Mexico, but this morning I woke up to a chill in the air and a surprising sight.

There was snow in the mountains! It was truly stunning!

Later that day we saw real snow flakes falling lightly from the sky. My students were thrilled and begged for a snow day! I said it would take a lot more than 10 flakes for this Michigan girl to cancel school. :)

On a more serious note, this weather here means that many people are left without a place to escape the cold. Please be praying for the people in the Rio communities and the children in the Casa Hogars that we serve.
